Chele Isaac

Chele Isaac works across several media including video, sound, sculpture and photography. Her installation works have been shown locally and nationally in art centers, project galleries and museums. Her short films have been screened in group shows and film festivals in the US and internationally. She was the Windgate Artist in Residence in the Spring of 2015 at the University of Indiana Pennsylvania which culminated in shows at the Pittsburgh Center for The Arts/Summer 2015 and Pittsburgh’s SPACE Gallery 2016. Upcoming projects include a solo show at Madison Museum of Contemporary Art in 2017 and learning how to be a farmer. Isaac has been an adjunct professor teaching Digital Arts Studio for the UW-Madison Art Department where she also serves on the Board of Visitors. She holds an MFA from the UW-Madison and maintains a studio and collaborative arts space in a renovated former church, downtown Madison.
