Hannah O’Hare Bennett was born and raised on a small farm in Kansas, where she learned to work with her hands and senses to understand her place in the world. She has spent her life in close contact with the landscape, working as a farmer, a produce manager, and a Peace Corps volunteer, but has always considered herself an artist first and foremost. She is currently an MFA candidate in the Design Studies department at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
