Hootenanny

Calling Madison Artists and Talents!

The Hootenanny is hunting for performers to be part of this new series!

If you have something you can do, we want to see a sample of it. Think: a musical instrument; puppetry; painting; magic; animal calls; drawing; storytelling; dancing, poetry; you name it.

1) You don't need to be a pro. We especially love fun, beautiful, or strange stuff.

2) Go to our FB page at https://www.facebook.com/hootmadison/

3) Hit "Send Message" on our page

4) Attach a short video of you doing your thing (we won't share it with anyone else - please limit the file size to 25 megs or less)

5) We will reply and be very nice about it.

Thanks in advance, everybody!

What is the Hootenanny?

Our first Hootenanny rocked the audience with feats of magic, soul-stirring performers, rock n' roll, and breakdancing.

In the words of one attendee, "It was better than the best Netflix show you've ever seen, or the best restaurant you've ever eaten at, OR the best stay-home-and-just-chill session you've ever imagined. Not attending this Hootenanny is like finally surrendering to the banality of normal life. I'll be back."

The Hootenanny is a monthly mashup of ruthlessly majestic music/performance/surprises that simply won't be ignored. It's like that person you meet who, at first glace, seems too intense for you -- maybe even a little crazy -- but who then gains your trust and becomes a treasured companion.

Break free and join us. The Hootenanny will announce the next date soon!
