Meet Your Local Poet
Amy Newman is the author of five books of poetry, most recently Dear Editor and On This Day in Poetry History. Her feminist revision of “Howl” won the Friends of Literature Prize from Poetry Magazine. Her translations of Italian poet Antonia Pozzi (1912-1938) appear or are forthcoming at Cagibi, Interim, Mantis, Exchanges, River Styx, and The Laurel Review.
