Hours: Our regular exhibition and library hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from Noon to 5 PM. The galleries are closed between exhibitions. Gallery hours are canceled on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 due to the weather.

ALL is located on the Main Street side of the South Livingston Parking Garage. Please use our main entrance shared with the parking garage on Livingston (inside the glass elevator tower). The Main Street doors are for exiting only.
ALL has three floors that can be accessed by stairs or elevators shared with the parking garage.
- Level 1: Pleasant T Rowland and W. Jerome Frautschi Galleries: Exhibitions & Performances
- Level 2: Ellen Kort Mezzanine: Small Press Library, Lab2 Gallery, and Writing Center
- Level 3: Education Center, Artist Studios, and Lab3 Gallery
Parking
Paid parking is available in the South Livingston Parking Garage attached to our building. The usual hourly rate is $1.20 an hour, but the Special Events rate is $8.00, pay-on-entry. Consult the City of Madison Parking Division Special Event calendar for upcoming Special Event days and times.
Free street parking is available nearby, most of which is two-hour parking from 8:00am to 6:00pm, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Please pay attention to posted parking restrictions (especially tour bus parking on our block) to avoid tickets. A map of unmetered street areas with time limits can be found at the City of Madison Parking Division website.
The MG&E Good Neighbor Parking Lot, 623 East Main Street, is available for free Monday through Friday after 6:00pm, and 8:00am to 2:00am on weekends.
