Judith Claire Mitchell is the Dorothy Draheim Professor of English at UW-Madison, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate level fiction and directs the MFA program in Creative Writing. She is the author of two novels, The Last Day of the War and A Reunion of Ghosts, the latter a finalist for the 2015 National Jewish Book Award and the recipient of the Council of Wisconsin Writers' 2015 Edna Ferber Award and the Friends of American Writers' 2016 Literature Award.
