In Good Company: Steamroller Print Mayhem

Don’t miss your big chance to watch artists ink up large woodblocks that are then printed by a 1-ton steamroller in the back driveway at Arts + Literature Laboratory. Inside, you can have fun at one of our screen print stations or pull a sheet of Combat Paper. Join us for this memorable FREE community event.

David Jones and Marilyn Propp with the Center for Collaborative Research are bringing their Press on Wheels and portable paper-making studio. Pulp from In Good Company curator Yvette Pino's uniform and the sheets of paper we pull will be made into seed paper so that life will grow from her uniform.

Nathan Lewis and Eli Wright from Combat Paper and Front-line Arts will be assisting with the paper making and steamroller event. Nathan is bringing several large sheets of Combat Paper to use with the steamroller as well as pre-pulled dried sheets for smaller prints. Drew Cameron from Combat Paper and David Keefe from Frontline Arts will also be present and participating.

Madison artist Jenie Gao will be printing some of her large woodcuts.
