Winter is Alive: ICU

Arts + Literature Laboratory is proud to feature "ICU" by Glenn Williams as part of Winter is Alive: A Cooler World Festival 2021. His work will be on view from February 12 through February 27, 2021.

Artist Statement

In my work I explore various social constructs.  I am interested in how these constructs shape our reality as well as influence the way we relate to each other on a social, political, and environmental level.  In the piece “ICU”, I examine how climate change has contributed to the rise in homelessness.  Extreme weather conditions have devastated communities, leaving the most vulnerable unable to find affordable housing.
