Richie Morales | Arts + Literature Laboratory | Madison Contemporary Arts Center

Richie Morales

Richie Morales studied Agronomy in USAC Guatemala and is a self-taught artist whose work transcends boundaries, blending vibrant colors, textures, and emotions to create immersive experiences. With a passion for exploring the human condition, Morales' art invites viewers to reflect, connect, and question fabricated borders between people, cultures, and Nature. He creates dynamic compositions that combine his mastering of texture that originated in his childhood years working in the trades in Guatemala, with his passion for traveling, healing and life long learning. "Art is for me the only space where light and darkness, the grotesque and beautiful, love and fear can integrate with each other to birth a fuller whole."
