Education Policies

Advance registration is required, unless otherwise specified in the class description. Please note that policies vary across our programs.

2025 Summer Youth Arts Camp Cancellation Policy:

1. UP TO 48 HOURS AFTER PAYMENT, and at least 2 weeks prior to each camp start date, full refunds may be granted, minus the $50 non-refundable registration fee.

2. BEFORE APRIL 1, 2025, a 50% refund may be granted, or a full tuition credit minus the $50 registration fee, or registration may be transferred to another week of camp, if available.

3. APRIL 1 - APRIL 30, 2025, no refunds issued, but 50% ALL Education credit may be granted or registration may be transferred to another week of camp, if available.

4. MAY 1, 2025 AND AFTER, no transfers, refunds, or credits will be issued.

Adult and Academic-Year Youth Class & Workshop Cancellation Policy:

A nonrefundable registration fee is included in the tuition for each class. Tuition minus the registration fee will be refunded upon student withdrawal from a class at least 1 week prior to the first session. Alternatively, the full amount can be credited toward a future class upon withdrawal at least 1 week prior to the first session. Within one week of the first class session or after a class begins, there are no refunds or credits. Unfortunately, we cannot refund students for missed classes.

Low Enrollment Cancellation:

PLEASE NOTE: It is best to register early to help our teaching artists prepare and ensure the class does not get cancelled. We evaluate registration numbers 3-7 days before the class start date to decide about whether to run it. Classes that do not meet a minimum enrollment may be canceled prior to the first class meeting with full refunds for all registrants.

Emergency Postponement or Cancellation:

In the event of instructor illness, emergency, or severe weather, we will contact participants via email and work with the instructor to reschedule individual classes. If feasable, a virtual option may be offered. In the event of cancellation or if you cannot attend the rescheduled class, registrants will be refunded for the prorated portion of tuition.
