Arts + Literature Laboratory presents Let Go, a solo exhibition featuring the work of Liubóv Szwako // Triangulador, on view Tuesday, July 7 through Saturday, August 29, 2026. This exhibition was organized by the community curation project, LAB^4.
A reception will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
The work on display shows Liubóv's commitment to letting go, purposely painting over completed artworks. He watches as the expectations from the previous works vanish as the new layers form a new essence. You become better at what you practice; Liubóv practices letting go. The fear of the unknown doesn't come into play, it is all meant to be washed away anyway. This approach makes it easier to exist and to allows him to create more freely.
Let Go
Liubóv was born and raised in Mexico City. Navigating life, always following his curiosity, he found himself in Madison, Wisconsin, a place he has called home over the last decade. A self-taught artist with no artistic background nor academic knowledge, Liubóv has been pursuing the excitement of experimenting with paints and mediums often following a "go with the flow" approach.
