Midwest Video Poetry Fest Live Film + Poetry Collaboration

This year the Midwest Video Poetry Fest will showcase a live filmmaker and poet collaboration on Saturday, October 22 at 5:30pm. The event will feature live video mixing from local film and video artists Luke Bassuener, Aaron Granat and James Kreul, providing images to poems by Philip Matthews, Sasha Debevec-McKenney, and Dana Maya. Free admission.

Poems will be read by the poets in person.

Arts + Literature Laboratory is located at 111 S. Livingston Street #100, Madison, Wisconsin, 53703.

Our galleries are normally open Tuesday through Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday noon to 5pm, and other programs take place throughout the week. Please check the events calendar and education section for details.

We will be closed Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday June 3 for a private event
