On Friday, June 21, 2019 at 8pm, Stefano Barone will perform all original music at Arts + Literature Laboratory. Tickets are $15 in advance (at https://stefanobarone.brownpapertickets.com) and $20 at the door. Student tickets $5 off with a valid school ID. Advance ticket sales end 1 hour before the show. Doors open at 7:30pm.

Italy's Stefano Barone is one of the most creative and interesting contemporary acoustic guitarists and composers performing today. Barone's music has evolved from his his internationally acclaimed guitar CD 'Particulareuno' in 2008 to his minimalist musical explorations created with the inspirations of Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Barone performs with a six and 10 stringed guitar and he utilizes a fret adaptive device to allow his 6 stringed guitar to be played like a cello. Recently Barone's music supplied the background for Director Brian Kaufman's 2018 Pulitzer Prize Winning film ' The Wall'. 

Stefano Barone is a composer, guitarist, producer, video artist, music teacher from Italy. He is considered by the critics as one of the most creative and interesting contemporary acoustic guitarist composers of our time. Born in Naples (Italy, 1978), he started playing music when he was very young. He studied piano at first but picked up the guitar quickly and did not let it go. From blues to pop to rock, he went through different musical experiences until he moved to Rome in 2001 and decided to dedicate himself fully to solo acoustic guitar.
