Sun Speak (Chicago): The Chicago-based duo Sun Speak comprises longtime collaborators Matt Gold (guitars) and Nate Friedman (drums and percussion). Since the 2014 release of their debut recording Light Blue Light (Genghis Records), Sun Speak has continued to solidify a compositional voice encompassing folk, jazz, and experimental music.

Tony Barba (Madison): Tony Barba is a saxophonist based in Madison, WI. He has recorded/performed all around the world with the likes of Bon Iver, the Mountain Goats, Escort, the Violent Femmes, Josh Ritter and more. He has been a member of the globetrotting Youngblood Brass Band for ten years. His debut solo album, Winter’s Arms, was released in 2016 and combines solo sax with electronic looping and modulation.
