Arts + Literature Laboratory welcomes LunART Festival 2023: Reimagine for a Composers Hub Spotlight chamber music concert on Sunday, June 4, 2:30pm. Seven composers from far and wide will come together for a performance of fresh, new chamber works. Enjoy a beautiful spectrum of musical styles, embracing influences of American folk music, Chinese traditional, European classical and jazz at this capstone event of the LunART Festival 2023. This one-of-a-kind performance will feature music for strings, winds and piano, never before heard in Madison. From the atmospheric and meditative to the expressive and percolating, this program is sure to spark your imagination.
In 2022 alone, LunART Festival received a Silver Lining Award for its outstanding contribution to the Madison community during the COVID-19 shutdown and a Programming Award from the International Alliance for Women in Music. Performed by Madison’s finest chamber musicians, LunART’s programs have garnered consistent accolades both locally and nationally.
