The Lonesome Organist organic one man band released his first 7” record in 1996. A multi-instrumentalist, The Lonesome Organist uses guitar, keys, harmonica, steel drum, and various percussion instruments to get his unique blend of blues, rock, garage, Caribbean, and Appalachian sounds.
The Lonesome Organist has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan. The Lonesome Organist performed at the 2002 David Bowie curated Meltdown Festival at Royal Festival Hall in London and at the 2002 Shellac curated ATP festival. As Jeremy Jacobsen, he has recorded with 5ive Style, Euphone, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Via Tania, Red Red Meat, Man Or Astro Man, Barbez. Additionally, he has composed music for Redmoon Theater and The Chicago Complaints Choir.
Opening for The Lonesome Organist will be saxophonist and composer Dr. Nick Zoulek.
