In 2017, Fermat's Last Theater is expanding to a year round season of work, beginning with their Brecht Project, an 18-month exploration of Mother Courage and Her Children. In fall 2017 and spring of 2018, they are producing workshops titled Mother Courage Alone. The fall performances (Thursday-Saturday, September 28, 29 & 30, 7:30pm at Arts + Literature Laboratory) will be a condensed, linear retelling of the play with one actress, one narrator and one musician. Each show will be followed by a panel discussion about the issues raised by the play - the fate of civilians and refugees caught in seemingly endless war.
Fermat's Last Theater makes theater available for FREE to everyone and asks those who value their work to donate. Details are on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/FLTCo/ and website http://fermatstheater.org.
