Film by Aninda Rahman
Statement from the filmmaker: "This mostly typographic animation contains images of places of worship being destroyed by extremist forces; children detached from families, helpless children to whom no state, big or small, was kind enough. When the movie was made and was featured at the Midwest Video Poetry Fest, people of the world were as vulnerable to the brute forces of Imperialism and religious extremism as they were in the events depicted in the film and as they are now, in today's world. Nothing changed. The only good thing is there are millions who share this frustration."
