Katherine Kramer’s work is rooted in building connections and community, encouraging intimacy, and promoting the value of artistic play as a tool in creating a more humane world. She has experienced a rich and varied career with exceptional collaborators. She is proud to have received numerous grants and award, including the prestigious “Hoofer Award” from the American Tap Dance Foundation for her lifetime commitment to the art of tap dance. She has recently been invited to house her artistic archive at the NY Public Library Jerome Robbins Dance Division, as well as to be a part of their Oral History Project, which will include a 6 hour interview with her on her life in dance.
