COVID-19 Policy

Gallery, Concerts & Events

ALL values the safety of our community members. Masks are currently recommended for staff, volunteers, and guests during indoor events and gallery/library hours. Double-masking (surgical under cloth) or a KN95 or N95 is recommended. 

Certain events and activities may have face mask and/or COVID-19 vaccination requirements at the request of the artists or program organizers. Please check the individual event pages for details.

If you have one or more symptoms of COVID-19 and/or RSV (listed at the bottom of this page), please protect others by staying home. 

If you have had a known exposure to COVID-19 and/or RSV within the last 5 days, we ask that you protect others by staying home.

This policy will be reviewed regularly, and we will adjust it accordingly to help protect the health of our community.

Education Programs and Summer Camps

ALL values the safety of our students and teaching artists.

Any student must stay home if they have confirmed cases of COVID-19 and/or RSV.

Any student must stay home if they have had a known exposure to COVID-19 and/or RSV within the last 5 days.

Any student must stay home if they have one or more of the following symptoms of illness:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Fever of 100.4 or higher without the use of fever-reducing medicines like Tylenol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen within the past 24 hours
  • Chills
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

 

Any student must stay home if they have two or more of the following symptoms of illness:

  • Sore throat
  • Muscle pain or body aches
  • Headache
  • Runny nose or nasal congestion

 

If students meet the above criteria, they are encouraged to test for COVID-19. Free test kits are available at https://sayyescovidhometest.org/.

Students may return to ALL when they meet the following criteria:

  • Have a negative COVID-19 test (rapid antigen or PCR acceptable) AND
  • Have consistently improving symptoms of illness AND
  • Have not had a fever or taken fever-reducing medications (like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or Tylenol) for 24 hours AND
  • Have not vomited or had diarrhea/for at least 24 hours.

 

If a student declines testing and has any symptoms of COVID-19, that student will need to stay home and isolate for 5 days following the onset of symptoms. Students who show symptoms of COVID-19 while in class will be sent home.

Our galleries are open Tuesday through Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday noon to 5pm, and other programs take place throughout the week. Please check the events calendar and education section for details.
