Emily Popp

Emily Popp (she/hers) is a fashion and textile artist with over a decade of experience in costume design. Her work is based in the repurposing and altering of found and second hand materials. Emily sees fashion as a tool to support feeling comfortable as your true self. She enjoys all styles and forms of that expression (except crocs and bucket hats - ha!). She holds a Master's degree in fashion and textiles from UW Madison and a Post-Baccalaureate in Fashion from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Availability: 

Emily is available for one-time workshops with a virtual pod or programs lasting a few consecutive weeks. She has availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays with some availability Saturdays after 3:30

Notes: 

For interested groups running programs spanning a few weeks, we may be able to arrange temporary sewing machine loans to work through projects

Arts + Literature Laboratory is located at 111 S. Livingston Street #100, Madison, Wisconsin, 53703.

Our galleries are open Tuesday through Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday noon to 5pm, and other programs take place throughout the week. Please check the events calendar and education section for details.
