April Watershed Reading

Join us on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 7:00 PM for our April Watershed Reading featuring Austin Segrest, Andrew Chi Keong Yim, and Lily Someson. Followed by a short Q&A, the authors will be signing and selling their books.

Austin Segrest is the author of the poetry collections Groom (Unbound Edition Press, 2025) and Door to Remain, winner of the 2021 Vassar Miller Poetry Prize and the Wisconsin Library Association Outstanding Achievement Award. Originally from Alabama, he lives in Appleton, Wisconsin and teaches at Lawrence University.

Andrew Chi Keong Yim was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He is the Martha Meier Renk Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was awarded the 2024 New Voices Award in Poetry from Washington Square Review, selected by Terrance Hayes. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in AAWW's The Margins, Bat City Review, Washington Square Review, and Best New Poets 2024. He has been a middle school English teacher in Boston and New York City, and currently teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and with the Wisconsin Prison Humanities Project.

Lily Someson (she/they) is a poet from Gary, Indiana. She is the author of Mistaken for Loud Comets, winner of the Host Publications Spring 2021 chapbook prize. and has been published in the Academy of American Poets, Poetry Daily, Underblong, and Court Green among others. She graduated with her MFA in Poetry from Vanderbilt University and is now the co-owner of Baldwin's Books & Records, a radical bookstore pop-up in Madison, WI.
