Chaucer's Troilus and Cressida, a dramatic epic poem

O blind world! O blind intention!

Geoffrey Chaucer's "Troilus and Criseyde" provided the inspiration and template for Shakespeare's infamous "problem play" of wartime lovers Troilus and Cressida. Falconbridge Players presents a dramatic reading of Chaucer's epic tale of Trojan romance and intrigue, updated for modern English by A. S. Kline.

Troilus’s double sorrow for to tell.

Performed at the City of Madison Police Department's Midtown District Station, 4020 Mineral Point Rd.

This event is free and open to the public. Come to watch and discuss.
