Final list of films to be screened on Thursday, April 25:

Millie & Me | Page Brien | 2018 | 4:15
This film is based on my own true story about my Grandmother. I wasn't sure how I wanted to share this story, so I decided to experiment using illustration, animation, original video, stock video, and FX. I was aiming for a soft, whimsical tone because the story could have been told as a tragedy, but I wanted it to have a hopeful feeling.

Epilogue | David Boffa | 2019 | 4:00
Reginald Foster—Vatican Latinist and teacher for forty years—reflects on what he misses since moving back from Rome to Milwaukee.

Three Days on the River | Gretta Wing Miller | 2017 | 10:10
An invitation to spend 3 days in the community of women fly anglers on the West Fork of the Kickapoo River, a Class 1 Trout Stream in western Wisconsin.

UPSIDE d o w n | Lizzy Ploumidis | 2019 | 3:45
This short music film looks at the beautiful and destructive behavior of the world around us and suggests how mental illness can shape our perspective.

His Last Name | Kristen Johnson-Salazar | 2018 | 10:50
My father received new information about family connections and relationships while taking a DNA test and visiting his family in Texas. After I shot the majority of this documentary in Austin, I came to terms that my father will always be emotionally distant when discussing these topics. It will take more than creating this documentary to heal the generational trauma that has followed my family and myself.

Forever Is Only an Unknown Amount of Time | Silas Ritchie | 2014 | 3:28
Walked out onto frozen Lake Mendota, encountered an art installation in the middle of the lake.

Lex and Jeng Episode 2 | Jeung Bok Holmquist | 2019 | 4:00
Sequel to the popular video from our November 2018 screening.

Wapo | Chloe Wallschlaeger | 2018 | 10:00
Short documentary about the UW Women's Club Water Polo team as they hit the road for a match at Western Michigan University.

Green Tinted Glasses | Hannah Janko-Barrios | 2018 | 5:55
An artistic exploration of cultural relativism and explores how one's perspective is shaped based on where we come from.

"Frozen" | Hamidreza Nassiri | 2019 | 1:15
A short experimental landscape / soundscape.

Shoplifting | Gavin McCauley | 2019 | 0:56
A contextual exploration of security systems and readymade film sets.

The Cold Deep End | James Kreul | 2011 | 4:00
A music video produced for the "10 x 10" screening at the 2011 Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina. Ten filmmakers were paired with ten bands to produce ten music videos in one week. I was paired with My Wonderful Machine and their song, "The Cold Deep End."
