On Friday, November 3, 2017 at 8pm, Arts + Literature Laboratory presents SLUGish Ensemble, an amoeba-like musical gathering under the direction of composer Steven Lugerner. Their music utilizes traditional acoustic instruments to create layers of pocketed-grooves and melodies that blur the lines between pop, rhythm & blues, jazz improvisation and minimalism. Tickets are $10 in advance at http://slugish.bpt.me or $15 at the door. (Advance sales end 1 hour before the show. Tickets available at the door starting at 7:30pm.)
