Hannah O'Hare Bennett will hold a studio tour and an Ecuadorian craft sale on Saturday, February 22 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The event will begin in Bennett's studio on the third floor of Arts + Literature Laboratory, then move to the first floor performance gallery.
11:00am: Bennett will give an informal talk and demonstration about the process she uses to develop her work.
12:00pm–5:00pm: Bennett will hold a sale featuring her own art pieces as well as a collection of fair trade Ecuadorian craft products. One group to be represented will be Intag Sisal, who make bags and other pieces out of cabuya (avave) fiber. Check here for further updates as the date approaches.
