Youth Poetry with GiGi Bella

GiGi Bella is a National Poetry SLAM finalist and a top-10 contender at the Women of the World Poetry SLAM. She is also In Good Company curator Yvette Pino's niece and was nine years old when Yvette deployed. GiGi is teaching this youth poetry workshop as a way to reflect on growing up in a post-9/11 world and to consider what her experience was like watching a family member deploy multiple times. The workshop is part of In Good Company, an expo of emergin veteran artists.
