Verónica Castillo

Verónica Castillo (she/her/hers) has been a lover of art since she was a child and knows the importance of it in our daily lives. As a bilingual Art Educator and teaching coach, she understands and implements social emotional teaching into her work to better support student learning as a whole; she cares about how students will be able to apply their learning to their life to build confidence and advocacy. Verónica has been a Bilingual Instructional Coach for the Madison Public School District and recently the Director Of Outreach and Education at Madison Ballet. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Iowa with a Masters in Bilingual Education from Edgewood College.

Availability: 

Verónica is available for one-time workshops, a few consecutive weeks with a virtual pod, or long-term programs. Verónica has flexible availability Mondays through Saturdays 10 am - 7 pm.

Notes: 

This instructor is open to collaborative pod sessions, including pairing her mixed media arts instruction with dancers or other movement instructors, and has particular skills in cultivating social and emotional wellness through the arts.
