Sean Frenzel

Sean Frenzel is a tap dancer, educator, and choreographer originally from Arlington Heights. He began dancing at the ripe age of two and has studied under Corey Lozier, Mark Yonally, Jeannie Hill, and Katherine Kramer, among others. Sean attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where he received BAs in Dance and Arts Management in 2020 while working as a choreographer, director, stage manager, lighting designer, and box office manager. Since graduating, Sean has worked as a Studio Manager and educator at several Wisconsin dance schools. Currently, Sean lives in Madison, Wisconsin where he performs with Primrose Tap Ensemble and serves as the Operations Manager at the Hancock Center for Creative Arts Therapies. The themes of improvisation, interpersonal relationships, historical connectivity, and whimsy are at the core of his creative process, and he seeks to continually push himself as a dancer, musician, and mental health advocate.
