Beth Racette is a visual artist and cultural worker who works in many mediums - acrylic ink paintings, sculpture and installation. Underlying themes in her work are flow (i.e. history, societal resources, biology and life processes, contagion, inspiration and communication) and interconnection. She has been working on the Gaia painting series since 2012. Her goal when she makes art is to utilize and integrate her entire self. Beth grew up in Wichita, Kansas and received her Masters of Fine Art in 1989 from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
