The No Name String Band is excited to announce Anytime, their second (brand-new) full album and first with the current, 7-member configuration. Recorded at the historic Stoughton Opera House, Anytime introduces 6 new original tunes written in NNSB's characteristic new time/neo-traditional style, as well as 11 tracks of traditional fiddle tunes played with their own unique spin.
In addition, a banjo, fiddle and guitar side-project CD, Tunesdays with More Ed Haley, is also now available. Tunesdays takes a more direct approach, and sticks to traditional, fiddle-led dance tunes.
The No Name String Band will be hosting a CD release party with a live performance at Arts & Literature Laboratory on Thursday, June 15, 2017. The free performance begins at 8:00pm, followed by a meet and greet, and the opportunity to purchase the new CDs. The show will feature mostly original material, with some 3-piece traditional selections from Tunesdays.
