I am currently finishing my M.F.A at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on printmaking, textiles, and sculpture. And I am a co-founder of the collective printmaking space, Polka Press.
My work develops from a process-based relationship to materials and a sense of scale in proportion to the viewer’s body. How do we reconcile our bodies as objects with the life of “inanimate” objects and forms that surround us? I am making work with the ongoing deterioration of our bodies and our mortality in mind, particularly as my work relates to art objects that will outlive us.
