These programs are designed to cultivate relationships, focus, and technical arts skills with a social justice focus.
CLASSES: By expanding our afterschool and homeschool course offerings to stretch out over a season, young artists will foster depth in their creative processes while establishing meaningful relationships with peers and teaching artists.
FEES: Course fees are payable online with registration. Classes and workshops with free and donation-based enrollment are thanks to generous support from the Wisconsin Arts Board, Dane Arts, Madison Arts Commission, Green Bay Packers Foundation, with additional funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, Endres Mfg. Company Foundation, The Evjue Foundation, Inc., charitable arm of The Capital Times, the W. Jerome Frautschi Foundation, and the Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation. Scholarship options are available for youth from low-income situations. For free enrollment in Indigenous Arts programs (available to Native students) or other scholarship information, contact ceara@artlitlab.org.
In order to pay teaching artists fairly, cancellations must be made in writing at least 1 week prior to the first session to receive either full credit (valid for 12 months) for a future class OR a refund to the credit card used minus a 15% fee. For more information, see our full Cancellation Policies.
Current offerings are spread out among the tabs below for Drop-Ins, Semesters, and Camps/Events.
